We have worked with individuals from over 30 different volunteer organisations across Sydney and Newcastle and we will continue to deliver our Speak Up! Speak Out! Model to help people overcome their fear of public speaking and polish their communication skills.
SpeakersBank Australia launched its new model Effective Meetings. The aim is to make meetings more efficient and productive, and to avoid waste of time and energy. We will continue running these workshops next year. Our work with young people in the schools continues, following our very successful Youth Speaker of the Year competition. Our thanks go to the teachers and sponsors who have made this event the success it is.
Our pilot workshop with a program managed by Youth Off the Streets was successful and we will be running more next year.
We have been recognised by the Performances for Schools program and can now advertise our program as an authorised performance within the PFS program managed through the NSW Department of Education and Training.
